Performance Products is having a 20% sale! I have selected two mufflers that I may purchase for my '84 Carrera (stock coupe). I have the Dansk Single Inlet/Dual Tips ($750) and the C@/C4-Look Exhaust. The C2/C4 look-alike is made by Perfomance Products and is a single inlet/dual tip oval ($1200).
I am looking for a dual out exhaust without deviating from the Porsche tone. Do these sound like the normal tone? Which is closer?

I'd do a search and you'll find a lot of threads on this subject, on Pelican also. I've not read any negatives on the Dansk products, although the two outlet is going to give you some more Decibels out the pipes.

I've had both, dual in/single out & dual in/dual out, Dansk stainless steel mufflers.
The single out was a little louder than stock, a little "throatier" sound (nice), not much performance difference from stock dual in/dual out. Some may find the increased interior resonance annoying. It didn't bother me.
The dual in / dual out, is a lot louder than stock, but there is a noticeable difference in reduced back pressure. Engine revs more freely and zips up to redline faster. I kept the same Dansk muffler (connected to my SSIs) when I converted from 3.2 to 3.6L, and this set up works fine (but, did I mention that it is loud?).
You have mentioned a single in/ dual out. Sorry, I have no experience with that muffler. But the dual outlet (as opposed to just a larger single outlet) did seem to make the greatest difference to me.
