I always see ST flares have a more tucked in tire.... Spacers maybe?

I guess the flare comment about the '74s that got done at Sonnen in Marin with the die stamping tool was over in the other '74 Carrera thread. Anyway, I found a picture. These were done to a narrow body '74S without adding any extra metal. Some guy who knew of the "project" got all excited and told me the story when he spotted the car at the track one time back in the '90s.

Ed-I'm travelling as usual, but I think I have pics of the car I was talking about that had it's metal peened out. They're on my home computer, if I still have them.
