Here is a company run by Bob Ingram's son.

They might have a lead on what you are looking for.

Rod,
Look at post #7. I knew exactly why Amar made the statement. As he aptly states, many come here thinking a 915 gear box is sub-par, mostly due to naivety. Due to the nature of the request on this thread, that is obviously not the case this time.

Most people come here to share something or ask for help. Making the statement that pre-87 911's should not be overlooked is in the providing help category.

Nobody could have said it better. Thank you Ed. I thing I do feel bad about is that I should have checked into Dino's past posts before I posted my reply. But 99% of the time it is a newbie who is in search for a 3.2.

If not for the guys here: https://rennlist.com/forums/showthre...ferrerid=76429

I would have missed out on a car that is mechanically very sound. I want others to not miss out either. I dont see anything wrong with that.

Dino, Dino, Dino.......my boy- give your Porsches some oil, and gas. Lock them in the shed with a little privacy and they will reproduce on their own. You might get a white coupe hpefully, but if it's red you should love it just the same

Your post was entirely approporiate in light of the amount of detail given in the original post. It was more than clear that your intention was to be helpful. We can't be always researching each other prior to posting!

Dino, you have an amazing collection! Thanks for sharing the pics!

Guess I should edit that to read "Porsche" collectors!

Relax w00t, we love you man !!

We know your intentions are never malicious. Just keep on calling it the way you see it.

And thanks for being a valued forum member.

So, know of any low mile '87-'89's?

lock me in the shed, some of those cars could easily induce me to spawn. Of coarse a stud fee would apply.

w00t is dead nuts on. His experience with these cars is exceedingly valuable to our community. Really, all he has ever done here is help. I'm not sure an apology is needed...we all understand his passion.

How about that boxster w00t? I can't imagine a cable shifter providing any real feedback compared to any variety of vintage cars. I do like a Boxter though.

WB...what can I say. Your (and several others here) support here means a whole lot to me ... so much that simple words can't express. I will start a different thread on my recent one on one extended wheel time with the Boxster spyder (as I have already hijacked this thread enough and more). I will do it here in the 911 section as long as it's kosher to do so.

Ed ... I am seriously beginning to doubt your honesty and integrity ...
