FWIW,..The local PCA region is very active and has a large number of driving events,....... ![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Good opportunities to get out on those great Oregon roads.

Thanks all for the kind words.
I have done many of the local Arrive and Drive events, which are really nice to see some back roads and of course lots of interesting hardware.
Guess I need to create a signature to tell y'all what they are.
1982 911SC with factory whale tale. I am the 3rd owner and so far everything has been great. Working through the known issues to prevent large expenses. All in all an extremely engaging car that I have dreamed of having since I was about 9 years old.
2002 C4S that the original owner optioned very nicely. It is a real amazing car and totally different in character. Not sure if the all wheel drive system includes a locking rear diff or not. It goes crazy fast.
Never believed I (we) would have 2 p-cars. (My wife has wanted one since she was a teenager as well.)

very good guess, but no not a tribute to the movie. my wife an i met while attending the university of utah. as we are now in the pacific northwest, it makes some sense and tells the university of oregon faithful we are not one of them.
