repair shop advive in s.f. CA
You would be surprised the damage two 60 yr old Chinese people could do to a 1983 911 sc!
Yes indeed-unmolested is now molested after almost twenty years-I will try to remain calm.
Anyway-it was totally their fault and their ins. is paying for it all
Front fenders-bumper-hood-etc...
Question: Anybody out there recommend a repair/body shop in san francisco that specializes in these cars (maybe you have had successful work done before?)
Please let me know-as i am quite nervous about getting it done right-right!
Thanks

Recommend you try the Golden Gate Region PCA newsletter at:

I didn't see any shops in the City but you could call a few of the shops listed and they could probably point you in the right direction. Good luck!

I only needed to replace a bumper, but Mathews-Carlsen did a good job. They are in Palo Alto, right behind Carlsen Audi, which might be a bit far for you.
They do all the body work for Carlsen Porsche so I suppose they know the 911 quite well. Most of the Porsches I saw in the shop were 986/996 though.

Columbus Autobody on Van Ness at around Washington did a good job for me. The owner, Bob Bryant, is a real nice guy and was recommended to me by the Stable. I have also heard good things about Marina autobody.
Good luck.
Good luck.
