Default Puzzled regarding my 930 Turbo

I own a 1987 Porsche Turbo that I am looking to get the build sheet. My turbo has the slantnose brake vents in the rear panels, but doesn't have the slantnose front end. I'm looking to see if this car came from the factory with this combination.

Thanks,
Taters

you can download PET 7....run your vin through there & should give you the options code, but porsche was relatively sloppy "records keeper" especially out of special "werks dept"....might also ck out the 930 turbo forum here.....or pelican forums for more insights

Is there any body/paint work on the car? You can always pop the trunk and look at the option sticker under it, or you can check the owner's manual for the option sticker as well.

Just about positive that your car did not come from the factory with a partial slant nose kit. Never heard of that being done. Don't think it's something Porsche would muck around with.

Yessir, they did do some of those through the Special Wishes department.

I would contact PCNA and get a Certificate of Authenticity for your car so you know precisely how it was delivered and with what options.

Ever come across one? I ask because this jogs my memory of a car we could never figure out, circa 1992-3. '87 or '88 930 (was a 4 speed) with slats as we're describing and boxed rockers PLUS the oil cooler back there by the right rear wheel. Huh? Turns out, it was a slopenose that was de-sloped after it took a nose hit. Absolutely impeccable repair job.

Yessir, I sure did but that was some time ago. Factory car with those vented rear fenders, boxed rockers, and standard 930 front fenders and hood.

Special wishes car painted in a paint-to-sample color.

They did anything you wanted as long as you had the "cheese",...

Thanks for all the responses on my question. I am still doing the research and am hoping that it cane from the special wishes factory! Just had it repainted in a DEEP BLACK (Original Color) with metallic included in the topcoats...........BEAUTIFUL!

Wish me luck!
