Wow, makes me rethink the Lojack.

Hope the car is 100% when you get it checked out.

Great news you got her back .... now lets be realistic .....
other than if the oil looks or smelled burnt you aren't going to be able to prove anything was done during the robery, You can't prove anything with a leak down or anything else that the insurance company will pay out on other than visible damage.
The other reality is these are very robust engines... if you get in it and it drives okay it is probably okay .. this guy did not joy ride it and leave it abanadoned somewhere so he stole it for a purpose and covered it up.
he did not go parading it around town. Thiefs steal them and cover them in a location because of guys like you who protect there investment with lo jacks .. they steal it , cover it and wait .. if a few weeks go buy with no activity then they know the car is not lojacked as no police dept would spend that investment watching a car ... if it is picked up in short order they know the car was lojacked. belive me these guys are no fools ...
So be glad you got her back and hope for the best

Good news i would think ..

great for you.
yeah the lojack makes sense on a collector or enthusiast car,
but otherwise i'd rather have 'NOBACK"

She "feel" OK? Smells the same (seriously)?

Change the oil...........look/see. Change the tranny fluid,...look/see.

Great news,......good story ending. Happy for you, bro'!

BEST!

If the guy farted in it, I wouldn't want it back. Yes, I probably would anyway.

As George Carlin noted "ever notice that your own farts seem to smell "ok" "?

Glad you got her back,..and hope she's just fine.....as Rusnak noted,..these babies are robust.

Glad you got her back in one piece.

I would inspect the Targa for hidden drugs. My boss had his stolen vehicle recovered and a few weeks later while cleaning the interior he noticed some white powder under the seats.

Woo Hoo!
Great to hear!
Hope you find her unmolested, except for the window & ignition of course.
After reading this, if I ever hear a 911 scream down my quiet street I'm gonna bolt from bed!

Glad to see she's back home.

My ex neighbors dad used to park his cars outside and he would suspend fishing line from one end of the driveway running all the way back through his bedroom window and at the end of the fishing line he had some empty cans tied to the line. If anyone walked onto the driveway, they would trip over the wire and the can alarm would go off in the bedroom. Haha, not such a bad idea. Gives you a chance to call the cops, scare em off or get after them.
