This 'upgrading' notion attacks us all. I went from 3.2 Carreras, to 3 different 993s, then was talked into 'upgrading' to a 996tt. Had it nearly two years, and I know exactly what you mean.

I realized I was missing something. Hard to quantify.

Am now back in a 3.2. These 911s and 993s remain my favorites. Really hard to beat, all things considered.

Change does not always equal upgrade.

Marketing has pounded the mantra of upgrade into our brains for years so change = upgrade.

I "upgraded from my Moto phone to an Android phone"..... The stupid Android phone can barely make calls....

I'll keep my 3.2..... Solid, simple and smooth.

I have had my 3.2 for over 15 years. Not even close to bored with it.

I'm not sure what this means? A recent release of US consumer data? It doesn't surprise me. It seems to me the next big financial hole is when the baby boomers leveraged to the hilt and living on credit have to retire, and the rest of us will have to cover their shortage too. I lived somewhat irresponsibly in my 20's and into my 30's. Thank god I saw the light in my 40's.

i think everyone here has a modicum of success, ( is that even a word ? ) as they are driving Porsches .. and ones they want to drive .. so I imagine most have the cash .. I think your question is to the wrong group ....

try ebay ..

and by the way I don't think marketing is your strong suit so you may want to try a different tact next time

If you'd type in full sentences and were a bit clearer in your message, some of us would know what the hell you're talking about.

If you're asking if any of us have $3K, I'd say most of us do, as noted, or we probably wouldn't be here. Secondly, it is none of your business what money, investments or property any of us have.

Considering he bought the car for around $20K eight months ago......................

Yes, I was actively involved in possibly doing a Rennfax on it for a (now) 993C4S owner when I was wandering around Central Florida last May. But this current owner stepped in front of a nearly done deal.

I'd go $15K outright for it. Have cash, can be on a plane do drive it cross country immediately. If we wrap the deal by the weekend I can even stop by Daytona for the 24 Hours?
