Oh that guy! A Pelican was going to buy that car from the PO for $20k, but this guy somehow got into the deal.

Yes, there IS a history. Also all over Fchat. Same thing there. Plus, at one time, some parts were for sale - the seats, other bits. An 'different' approach.

i've seriously been considering "upgrading" to an '87 -'89 911 from my 996 C4S. had an '86 targa years ago and loved that thing. everything felt more solid, and the sound -- no comparison.
