Hey Scott,

I feel your pain (WYIT-itis), but you are making some real good moves. Once most-everything else that I have started is done (on the front end) I plan to drop my motor too (the suspension is already out, as is the exhaust... I'm half-way there!)

Main reason is fuel lines and then all the usual "low-hanging fruit" like the oil cooler seals etc.

The fuel lines especially concern me. Rusnak, thanks for posting about Zims... that is an option I will consider.

Scott-you may want to pull injectors and send to Witch Hunter or similar for clean and test. Gone 4 or 5 days total and $120 is about all.

500-personally, I think having your exhaust manifolds on would make the engine drop easier. They offer a wider/stable support foundation that the case seam that will now be your low point.

Scott,
my 911 going up on the jack stands next week. first phase is complete brake rebuild. then drop the engin to do also much of your list, but not clutch, and add plugs/wires, etc. etc.

did the FULL intake refresh on the 928 last winter.

'tis the season here for wrenching. just got 4+ " of snow.

forgot to comment. when doing the 928, sent injectors to witchhunters. they did a fast, excellent job. will do same for the 911.

Good tip, thank you. I think I will throw them back on temporaily then to facilitate that.

I consistently hear good things about Witch-Hunter...
