Default PUCH Halfingers

It didn't take long. Having recently parted with my 964 due to family expansion Im looking for something a little smaller to play around with and I found the perfect candidate. A PUCH Halflinger 4x4…amazing little carts with an air-cooled boxer twin in the rear (its four short I know).

They are thin on the ground here and Im thinking about trying to import one from the US or Europe.

Anyone have a knowledge amongst the 911 cognoscenti?

cheers, C

Wow, that is cool. Never seen one.

I'm seriously toying with the idea of getting a Suzuki Samurai TinTop and outfitting it in the same fashion.

...gonna have to google the crap out of that thing.

Ya know what may work if you cant get one is a "Japanese Mini-truck." Not street legal here, but they make awesome toys.

How about the John Deere Gator? Hey DB, Did you ever find a Toyota? Seems I remember an OT thread. I keep looking, just to see whats out there. Would like a 4runner, ~91-94, 4 cyl (22RE), 5 spd 4x4. Impossible to find.

Suzuki Carry...never thought of that. Good tip.
Not as Tonka tuff but a lot easier to find.

They are not road legal in Australia, our property is steep and I've had enough scares on quads. Neat units though.

Here in the states the importers have to lock out all but P R N and 1st. Needles to say the first mod is to remove the lock.

And whalebird, I'm currently fixated on the Suzuki samurai. Seems to be more in line with what I want...
