Post any 2.7 upgrades?

I know...replace it! I happen to love my car and the 2.7 was rebuilt with new studs, cam, etc. I am looking for a few ideas to upgrade the performance for auto-x. I have many plans for the the suspension/wheels/tires...but would like your help on the engine mods.

My friend had a couple mm shaved off the bottom of the cylinders, upping the compression one full point, check with Ollie's, etc. about the exact specs...they're VERY familiar with these "tricks of the trade". I believe the same thing can be done to the heads as well?

He also had the heads twin-plugged and converted to Electromotive HPV-1 ignition...then slapped on a set of webers later.

He can just barely "pull" me on the track now, and I have a 3.6 964 with a few modifications...so I've very impressed with what I used to refer to as his "little 2.7", actually, I'm jealous! Too bad he's a good driver too!

Thanks Jeff.
I was considering the carbs, and I might have to look into having the heads twin plugged. I noticed Jack has a few of these combos pictured on his Cambria site.
