Question Fuel line access?

How do I get access to the fuel lines where they run under the passenger area? When I replaced the fuel lines from the fuel tank to just above the front steering mech, it made me think of the condition of the remainder of the line up to the fuel pump. Thanks.

You don't. No access. I wouldn't pull it out without replacing it.

Because the fuel line is routed along the top of the tunnel going thru a couple (??) of body clamps. If you removed the line by itself. You may not get it back in the clamps. Then there is a chance the fuel line would be laying down there with the shift rod. Not a pretty picture.

So if your concerned. I'd replace it.

Not a real tough project. But there are some precautions to take when working with fuel.

Hello

They run trough the center tunnel and are out of direct sight. You can check them partially by removing the rear acces cover, shifter, handbrake and the front tunnel carpet.

The only interessting points are the condition at the bulkheads. Also look at the area where they run around the trany nose cone and under the rear seat bucket ( Your fuel pump is in that corner )

Thanks...
I was just wondering if they were prone to wear...and after checking them through the tunnel, they look fine.
thanks again for the response.

If the rubber bushings at each end are tight. There isn't reason/way for it to move.
