Milestone

Yesterday, I was driving to work, and I looked down and noticed that I hit 70,000 miles! I'm the third owner...first one put around 30K on it, second owner put another 37K. The sad part is that for the two years before I got the car, it was driven a total of 200 miles. I've had the car for about 4 months and have put 3K miles on it. So, I feel like 70,000 miles is a nice milestone to reach. It marks the first 3,000 miles I've ever driven in a Porsche, and it marks a new era for my car, an era where it will be driven and not just stored in a garage.
So, anyone else reaching a milestone (or mileage) in their Porsche that they'd like to share?
Best,
Alex

Congratulations Alex, your '87 coupe is now getting the love it so deserves through your driving habits. Talking about the engine being broken in just now, don't you love these ads on our cars that say engine had a top end rebuild at 92K miles which is so "typical" for these cars.

I rolled 100K this summer, on the way home from an autocross, with my 2 year old son asleep in his seat beside me (it was his first outing in the 911). Completely perfect circumstances for my car's big milestone.

I'm a couple of miles short of 140K. That's 14K in 20 months of ownership...loving every mile of it. Some people say that it will wear off and then the annual mileage will go down...I don't see it.
