Default corn hold !?

My 1983 SC now has 168k miles of smilies after 13 years ,2 of which
are track doged, has per local wrench all power with her cherry intact.(factory sealed case). "BRAD PENN" appears a solution for zinc deficient oils of
the day. My concern now is the alcoholic fuel . I been told all gas has a minimum of 10% ALC . How should this be addressed by 83SC technology ?

if you are talking about ethanol seek out a station that does not use it .. if oyu are mandated and everywhere uses it you will have to add stabil i would imagine ... personally i don't think it is a big deal if you burn through gas quickly but i think ovwerall stabil is your friend.

OT

I live in Northern Kentucky, just across from Cincinnati.

I met a guy at work who moved here not long ago from California. he was initially startled by two things he encoutered. thought he had left these issues back in CA.

Corn Hole

Big Bone Lick

most people know what corn hole is, a game where you toss bags of corn though holes in a board. like horse shoes.

Big Bone Lick is an area in N KY that is an ancient salt lick. they have excavated large quantities of fossils, including lots of Mamouth bones.

it is also where the now famous (or infamous depending on your views) Creation Museum is located.

Ed,

LOL. I think Corn Hole is a midwest/southeast phenom. I don't know why they call it that. it does reflect the activitiy, tossing little bags filled with corn through holes in a board, but PLEASE....

maybe a deliberate pun, but does cause folks who participate in the sport to become the butt of many jokes.

I do NOT.

As I recall, while we drove down Beaver Road we passed both Big Bone Lick State Park and Beaver Lick Baptist Church.... norther Kentucky is a funny place.

... more on thread- using Stabil for Corn/Gas, do you toss it in every tank, or just when it's going to sit there a while?

I'm guessing they are recommending the BLUE Stabil, not the red layup formula. The blue one is made for marine applications and supposedly was formulated to help prevent corrosion from ethanol's propensity to bond with water.
