Post What Oil Brand You Use for 911 Car

Hello All

I would like to know which oil brand every are using when time to change oil. Oil that you can buy from local auto parts, I heard that Kendall oil(green stuff) was recomended by a lot of poeple but I caould not find them any where

Mobil one...15-50 here. But for a dino oil, a lot of guys do like the Kendall. BTW, I just picked up some Mobil 1 at the local WAL-MART $17.88 for a single 5 quart container.

Mobil 1 - 15W50. <img src="graemlins/jumper.gif" border="0" alt="[jumper]" />

Change the oil and filter every 3K to 5K miles.

Anyone running Rotella (shell) 15-40? I use it in all my other vehicles (diesel pickup, jeep, 2 motorcycles). what are the special needs of a p-car?

My mechanic uses Castrol GTX and has been for years. I also use Valvoline Racing 20W 50.

I use Redline 20/50 in my 1983SC with 230,000 miles and counting.I used to run the Valvoline 20/50 Racing Oil.

I use Mobil 1 15w-50 in my 993 and Gastrol RS 10w-60 in my 911.

I'm thinking of changing to Mobil 1 with my 911 too but don't know yet.

Kendall 20/50 It's what my mechanic recommends.

I use Castrol GTX 10w40, I change it every year (3k-5k miles) in the spring (it's stored for the Canadian Winter)-damn salt

and Castrol Synthec in the tranny. (I think it's 80-90)
