Castrol 20W50, Swepco 201 for transmission although it did not do to my transmission what it has done to other's cars.

$19 for 4quarts of Mobil 1 at Walmart! In England it costs $50 at halford and even at Costco its about $36. No wonder the multinationals call us "Treasure Island"

The book recommends I use a straight 30w oil in my 1973 T but I use Castrol 20 50w

I use Mobil 1 15/50 red cap in the engine. This because of reports from a builder of Formula Atlantic engines that he found less valve train wear and less residue in engine with it.

I used Swepco in 915 gearbox and found it shifted better than other lubes but did not try Mobil 1 in it. Tried Swepco in my G50 but found with Mobil 1 it shifted better, so I use Mobil 1 here too.
