Have you contacted PCA?
Is there a special interest group for the 911?
If so, perhaps an advocate for that group could help you.

I would also post this in the 911 forum as well...not many folks wander into this forum....I will move the thread for you.

Sold to Clark Porsche in guards red by my Porsche computer data base. The 5 in your VIN is a "S" Delivery is March 1 of 1989 to a "Donald" out of Alamo Calif. Thats all it states in my system. Guards red they made a lot of them Interior option is not shown and looks like sun-west Porsche did a warranty repair back in 1992 for a pressure pipe of some sort when the car had 2k miles. Its the only things in the system on this car.

Wow! 11k miles in 22 years. You'll likely be hearing from Sloan cars soon.

I cut and pasted and it said bad vin. So I took the 5 and made it a "S".

I've seen some grey leather interiors on a very few '80s Porsches but never a silver one.

You may want to contact Porsche Classics people at the factory:

Certificates of Authenticity
Phone: 1-800-PORSCHE (option 5)
E-Mail: coa@porschecars.com

Restoration/repair
Phone: +49 711 - 911 - 27150
E-mail: classic-service@porsche.de

ricster,

I don't suppose your database works on ROW cars? (WP0ZZZ...)

I'd love to trace the ownership of my car but Porsche Classic was no help...I have a COA but that's it.

To the OP: sounds like a sweet ride!

Should 11K be considered a crime?
