Default Some video from this weekend's autox

I drug the 911 out to the Kansas city SCCA autocross this weekend, and figured I'd waste some of your bandwidth. I have not done much rear engine cone work this year, so don't be too hard on me!

Thanks!! Be patient... I know, everyone says that, but you'll get there if you put your mind to it.

Yoda, Yes, it's the GoPro... I burrowed it from a friend, so I really don't know much about it except how to operate it (barely).

Also, I knew the car felt pretty loose on the concrete to asphalt transitions, but I didn't realize how much work I was doing. You can see the reflection of my hands in the upper left corner somtimes. I need to figure out a camera mount to capure body movements and car progression.

I should put it in my sig...
3.6 conversion. 964 motorsports crank, 12:1 JE pistons, pauter long rods, GT3 oil pump, 3.8 RSR heads and cams, ITB injection w/ autronic management. 1.75" B&B headers with heat and B&B 2 in 2 out.

whew, that was a mouthful. The car is a frankenstein. Should be stock gearing for an 89.

HAHAH, I drove a customer's 3.2 carrera once after doing some basic service. I looked over at my business partner and literally asked him: "is this thing broken, or do they drive like this?"
Seriously though, The more wild mine gets, the more I can appreciate having a bone stock Porsche to tool around on the road with.

Thanks Rus!

Thanks Rus!
BTW if the "wild side" gets to be just TOOO MUCH for ya, let me know... I suppose I would be willing to swap a bone stock one for it -

Ed, It is a facility that local law enforcement uses for training. The pond in the picture is used to flood a wet skid pad, but the main course is dry. The white patches are concrete and the black is asphalt. the transitions off the grippy concrete can actually be a bit of a handful.

ivan, I meant for the first time in my life I could appreciate having a stock car in addition . Kansas is kind of a special hell for sports car lovers. There seem to be almost NO fun roads to drive. If I was still living in central Ohio I'm sure I would drive my car on the road more than I do out here.

I'm glad the vieo wasn't a complete waste of bandwidth
I have to admit that I watched them too many times just to hear the stupid thing... I don't get too many opportunities to use it these days.
