I'm 6'5" with a 34 inseam and I fit great in 996's and 997's. I've got a cab but didn't have any problems with coups when I was looking.

They've gotten better over the years.

I'm 6'6" and this is my experience
964: cramped and tight. I'll drive it for a bit because I like them but I wouldn't own one. It's a 20 minutes at a time kind of car for me.
993: depends on the configuration (most I've been in have been at the track so lots of seat mods, sunroof deletes, etc...) but generally pretty uncomfortable
996: 100% comfortable without a helmet, a little interference with, but I can still drive them just fine
997: I own a 997 C2S with sunroof and power seats and I'm 100% comfortable with our without a helmet.
