G'day Rosco,

I believe these were sold by Automotion years ago.
They were a 'somewhat' copy of the 964 retractable spoiler but did not go up or down.
You removed your original grill, put this spoiler thing in and then bolted your original grill back into it.
It doesn't do anything. Just looks like a later one. It was made of fibreglass.

Looks like a 964 or 993 automatic rear spoiler that pops out at a certain speed. It's certainly from a 90 or later air cooled car.

ivangene, I admit the dancing car and music were more than a bit quirky, but the video is pretty solid and the car is HOT!

Thanks All!

I think he needs to adjust his valves.

As noted, it looks like a 964 spoiler.

GEEZ, what an unflattering video.

Keep that away from the 928 guys, they'd have a field day. First, it sounds like a VW Bug, and it looks like a lawnmower being driven through the tall grass and all. Just a weird video all around.

Actaully ed has a point ..it does remind me of the theme of " definition" .. where if you won the game you could win 100.00 ... i was gonna say it sounded like 70s **** music but it did pick up a little towards the end ..
