Default Love the air coolers

Started fixing a couple of things. Cleaning the inside of one of the headlights and replace a parking lamp bulb. The cover had a crack in it and low and behold I had a new cover and bulb in garage stock. Nice.

Hopefully Earl doesn't mess up the yard too much since I plan on major detailing. Car is scary fast.

So you pulled the trigger. That boost will consume your life...those cars can most certainly be scary fast. I've seen street 930s with HP close too(if not over)500...dial-a-boost.

Congrats!

I'll be interested to hear your driving impressions. That four-speed, as I understand it, has sky-high gearing...is it strictly a wide-open highway car, or can you have fun in town?

Probably not much fun in town - unless you consider 90+mph in second gear "fun".

Muss...remember to let the beast idle a minute or so before shutting her down.
Some 930s have a timed-delay shut off.

The speed really creeps up on you on the highway. Thanks for the tip on the shutdown. I'm jones'n for a little track time with it.

I forgot where I read it, but one of my old Porsche books describes the addicting thrill of the Porsche turbo 911. The author compares the feeling to one where your ***** was suddenly made a foot longer, lol.

That will be fun:

"OK, I'm almost to the apex-stomp on it-3, 2, 1....launch!"
