Post Cab window seal replacement, How?

Anyone replaced their window seals on their cabriolet? Fabric covered rubber pieces that seal the top of the window. Is it a do it yourself item, or something best left to a Porsche shop.

The fabric on mine is starting to fray. Do they attach to the headliner in any way as I need to replace that as well.

thanks,

While I have not done this myself, I had mine replaced with a new top last summer just before parade. They are glued in place and should be an easy DIY job.

I have just completed this job. The seals at the top of the window, are either 1 piece or 2 piece, depending on the year. You can slide the inner seal off the top, then unscrew an aluminum bar that holds the outer cloth covered seal. It is a simple job. I don't know about cars with a single seal. Just make sure you know which seals you have.
