so as expected, nothing is ever as it seams on a Porsche... after puttin in the passenger side I hopped on the other side and ????? its not the same????

some detective work let me to the discovery that the electric seats are thicker (taller) on the bottom section than standard. So to compensate they put thick shim bars on the satndard seat to jack it up to the same height... well, everything I made was for the jacked up seat

the drivers side uses much shorter bolts as it is not elevated... so my countersinks did not allow for regular cap screws (the factory ones have a short head on them) but I used a washer....it was tight, but all new (longer) bolts ($12 @ home depot) and picked up the ones i was missing from the other side since I am using 2 extra/side over the factory... and they are in!!

had to adjust height/tilt on my seat, will do passenger tomorrow.. think I will run it taller since my wife and kids are all short, they might like to see out better by being up a little higher..

dark tonight, quick bite of food to wash down the beer.... pics tomorrow I promise - keep in mind these are a tad faded and the color is a poor match, but i am not in this for looks - they feel great!!

first drive - OMG !! I am home!

I have missed my GT3 Euro seats for long enough... this is a true pleasure to be back in something NICE

pics as promised
track day tomorrow so the car is dirty - I never wash before track days (rarely after)

Thanks Frank, yes... I feel like I won the lottery - not really sure how to say thank you enough. I wrote a nice letter to Ron and he is just the nicest guy EVER!

Those of you not holding memberships need to know there are really really awesome people on this site and being apart of it is something special and worth paying for.

I will be at the track in about an hour and 1/2 - (its the "baby track") and I cant wait to feel these n action. The car has ~ 30/40 more IHP (imaginary HP)

Ed they look awesome! I am just catching up on the thread and have to say, job well done! I thought you'd have an easy swap-in, but kudos on getting it all figured out.

Thanks Ron, i have a couple friends who like my brackets so much they want a set. One wants lower, one wants higher (for his wife) So to pay it forward I am making them and gifting it - feels good to give what I can.

Cant thank you enough!!!
