The Fuchs are in the garage and thats not the original tail (it came with a whale tail). Porsche never put a wide body tale (fiberglass tea table) on a narrow bodied car.

If so, the photos don't do it justice. I would give it a good wax and re-take the photos in a location & light setting that is more complimentary. Turn the front wheels as they do in other new car ads. Many times it's about salesmanship.

In spite of belief, the heavy twist wheels (are they hollow spoke?)do nothing for performance, in fact it hurts the car. The added diameter and weight throw of the geometry just enough to eat your aging suspension components. It will hurt your resale as well on an otherwise pretty car(just ask deadhead1960). Sorry Iceman.

A well sorted car with track miles is a plus to me. Track miles (and track maintenance) is the element these cars were designed for. Beats one with 20K of stop and go trafic with the AC blowing.

S. Carver, that is a beautiful shot of our local celebrity. To the OP GLWS. In Pete Z's opinion (as stated in his book), '89 is the best year for a Carrera 3.2. GLWS...and please no need to talk ill about turbo -look. Ray just stated his personal opinion on the Fuch's.
