Been there done that twice!
You will need to pull out the fuel sender and visually inspect the tank for rust.
If it's rusty you need a new tank.
Change the motor oil now and again once everything is ok.
Plan on 2 fuel filters, one to get it running and the 2nd when your done.
Expect the fuel pump to be frozen solid and need replacing.
Expect to have cleaned or replace the fuel injectors.
I would wait on replacing the spark plugs if it fires up as they will get oiled.
The piston rings could be frozen in place but may free up once running.
If the rings are frozen you may have oil flowing out the exhaust and a lot of smoke for a while until things free up, if they do free up.
Don't rev up the engine at first, just try and keep it running with as little revs as possible.
This is a dangerous time when the exhaust heats up as oil past the rings can burn so have the car OUTSIDE when you try and start it and have a decent sized extinguisher at the ready. (trust me on this one)
You may get lucky on some of the above.
I would not do anything to the brakes or any other issues until the engine part is determined.
Exciting times ahead, good luck

The oil cooler cannot be drained unless you pull both lines loose from the top of it and remove it from the car. I've always wondered why Porsche didn't put a drain plug in the cooler like they did on the rear oil tank. Just do the oil change(s) as stated previously and let the new oil integrate with the old. There's probably 2-3 quarts in the tank and lines and 2-3 oil changes may be needed. Even on a regular oil change in my 88 Carrera, there is always some old oil in the system and I do mine every 3,000 miles. Just follow the recommendations from guys on this forum and you should be OK. Welcome to Porsche onwership and Rennlist.
