Post EBAY...Would you buy this?

Sorry to jump off topic a bit. I check around on Ebay and other sites always looking for a good deal on parts, cars or whatever else junk I can buy. This ad I thought was quite interesting. If anyone has had any experience on EBAY I think you would agree. This is a brand new ebay member, selling a $130,000+ car with a no reserve opening bid of $50K. Oh yeah, he claims the owner is dead, so it is not even his car. He supplies no pics, no vin# and states 0 miles on the car. The only info suplied on the car is straight out of a brochure. And the kicker.....he wants the winning bidder to Western Union 3 seperate payments of $900 within 48 hours. Seems interesting he wants to stay under that $1000 reportable limit. Maybe legit..who knows.....I know I would never do it.. have a great weekend all.

This TOTALLY stinks of fraud! I can't believe that someone will actually bid on this item. I'm putting it on my eBay "watch list"!

Be very careful with this... it has to be fraud. He has 3 other auctions going on at the same time with unreal prices.

592269699 - 360 Ferrari
592269531 - Bentley
592269775 - Lamborghini

I reported this freak to Ebay. How anyone could bid on his cars is beyond me. As far as I am concerned he should be prosecuted for attempted theft.

Did you see the "name" he was using, something about "myphonenumberhaschanged"? I wonder why he would change his phone number.....

Looks like it worked, the link no longer works. I suppose he got what he deserved. I am still shocked that people actually bid on it.
