F1 race finishes are fixed by "Team Order", ruining the competitive spirit of the sport. Makes one wonder what the "F" in "F1" stands for.

Yea...a few years ago I became disinterested in F1. I've been watching a race here and there, but haven't really followed a season in the past couple of years. I keep hearing about how great the racing has been this year. Sunday I decided to make time to watch the race....reminded me of why I stopped paying attention to it.

...and they say nascar is fixed...

Can I just chime in here, F1 is 'team' racing its why they have two cars, if you look back through F1 history there's many cases when one driver 'gave' his car to his team mate in the 'spirit' of the team. however, more recently its gone a bit pear shaped, Renault took the p*ss deliberately crashing a car so the other driver could win, and then got caught...... Doh and Ferrari are about as subtle as a bull in a china shop

mck911 - Dont blame you, Hokenheim was about as interesting as watch paint dry, however the Red Bulls make interesting racing http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Z0cj...eature=related

2 Quick questions:

On the last video at the 50 sec mark, and looking at the tach, is the blue the actual engine speed and the red the max possible engine speed? The outer markings seem to be speed, the inner RPM.

Is is possible to make an avitar out of this video. I just think the images of the launching into the air are pretty cool, well, I hope Webber is OK and not hurt.

Thanks,
AlfonsoR

Webber was fine, mind you he's had the practice! I was at Le Mans in 99 and he flipped a GT1 Merc on the Mulsane

Blue = Throttle
Red = Brake
