Ed-Something tells me Ruby wouldn't have any problem bringing home some hardware. These are local club events not "The Parade". A lot less stress! Personally, I can't see removing tires to clean brake dust and wheel wells!
logan2z-Thanks..I didn't have a clue. Can't say I'm familiar with "hexidecimal". I wonder if many ask? People ask me what year my car is and its on the damn plate! Maybe its the EURO part that confuses them.

We only have nice weather from July 5 through September. So we have to get the most out of those days by wearing clothes that really re-enforce how nice it is outside.
Seriously. I have a collection of 20 or so Hawaiian shirts and I wear them every day to work during the summer. The louder the better IMO.

Congrats! Especially on a first time.
We had the Concours bug BAAAD a few years ago and went Full Concours with our 55 356 Outlaw at the Parade. No expectations at that level. We prepped the car for weeks, 1000 Q-tips, polish, wax, more wax.....We won our Class and the Judges told us we would be judged again for Division. We won our Division. Then went up against the winner of the other Division.....a brand new 997 that had just been air-freighted in from the factory completely shrink wrapped and baggied to the Parade. The owner unwrapped it the night before the concours and won everything. So a 1955 356 against a "hours old" new car!
We NO LONGER CONCOURS!

Wow, that sucks.
There should have been a rule that you actually had to "drive" your car to the event.
The consolation is that he will probably never win another event with that car, while your car certainly would.
I've heard that with enough money you can buy the presidency too. ;-)

That's the problem with PCA! There are soooo many rules except one for BS!!!!
After the Hershey Parade, where a car was clearly in the WRONG class with us, really should have been in the Historic class, was decided by the Judges to remain in the wrong class and leave it to us to PROTEST! We overheard the judges huddling trying to decide what to do. It was easier FOR THEM to do nothing. Rob tore up his PCA membership card right there!
