SPOILER ALERT:

All I will say is that this was an EXCELLENT race, with the PROPER outcome!

Sounds like fun.... We need to get you back to Dallas for some garage parties.

How about you popping over when I get around to doing my clutch?

Apparently, since I moved, nobody has taken over the responsibility, so there won't be any more.

There was a lot of stuff going on in front of him, he may've had to check up hard or drop a couple of wheels. The 45 car was right there, but squeezed thru.

yeah, I was thinking he spun due to weight transfer, but on the replay it looked like he was punted. Very exciting race!

All of the ALMS races have been pretty great this year. Laguna Seca was one of the best races I've ever seen. Speed broadcast it online, all 6 hours and I was glued to my computer. The Lizards winning was certainly great in that one too, but the last 1/2 hour with Joey Hand and Pat Long going at it was one for the ages. On par with Joerg Bergmeister vs Jan Magnusson last year.

I'm seriously thinking of flying to Atlanta for Petit Le Mans the end of September. It may be the deciding factor for the championships the way it is so competitive. Also the first chance to see the GT3R Hybrid racing live in the US. It'll be a fitting bookend to my Daytona 24 Hours/Le Mans 24 hours trips this year.

How about Gunnar Jeannette's win on backup electric power.

That was classic.

I watched some of it again last night and Melo said he was punted by the 3 Vette. Didn't catch that the first time. It happens-similar to when the Falken car lost a wheel in front of Joerg at Sebring and took him out. A little luck is needed to make it to the end.

I have no problem hosting one, just need to pick a date that I'm not actually working. And get approval from the owner of the garage (wife).
