Default new ride 82 sc

just figured out how to load pic, bought this around a month ago, 68k orig miles, paid 20k think i paid too much by reading some post, engine had all up grades and was garaged most of its life, bought this over a 2000 millinum 911, that was the same price, hard to believe i could have bought a car that cost 100,000, 12 years ago whats up with the depreciation on the newer cars 996? i loved the hp but was concerned about maintenance repaires on the newer cars, plus i like older vehicles better anyway, sure i will have many questions, already thinking of putting a ducktail on.......

looks like a really nice car....congrats, you may have paid more than going rate but buying the best example-well maintained/well cared for with these older cars is never a bad thing imo ...also really low mileage.
more & larger pictures would be welcome!
996's quite a bargain now....assume because porsche made so many and also
engine design issues makes the series somewhat prone to ims/rms failures

Nice looking car. If it's truly a pristine car cosmetically AND mechanically with correct miles, $20k a strong price, but not way out of line, imo.

Go for the ducktail. Black on black with a duck and black fuchs = haut.

Nice choice.

The 82 Targa is a good pick by my book

Targas suck, but your tiny picture looks nice. You'll know in a year or two whether you paid too much. Enjoy!
