Question regarding VIN codes and specific engine output
Hi guys,
I am in the process of purchasing a 1981 911 SC Targa from a good friend, and I began to do some research on the VIN. It has an A for the 5th digit, so it is a Canadian spec SC, and the 13th digit is a 6, which is evidently the body and engine code. I have two questions. Does the Canadian spec SC have the US spec 180 HP or does it have the Euro 204? And what does the 6 in the thirteenth space represent/tell me about the car?
