I've got a squeaking coming from the right-center of the car and notice some settling squeaking when I exit the the car.
I suspect I have a torsion bar rubbing on its bushings. Assuming the rubbing hasn't changed the bar's integrity (just rubbed off the finish), are these bars able to be re-finished or refurbished?
If so, is it best to powder coat them or use a high temp ceramic paint?
Probably a dumb question but thought I would give it a try.

Well, I read a few posts over on the bird and the short story is..... It depends on the bar's condition.
If rusty, then nope, bag 'em. If not, then maybe....
This could turn into a nasty "while I'm in there" venture....... Bushings, shocks, TBs alignment, etc.
I may was well lower it to euro height, too.
It's the indoor season in Dallas now due to the heat so its time to break a sweat on this stuff
