Default FS 911S Project

SOLD!!!!

I have a 74 non-sunroof 911S, was told the dist. was bad, was running though.
This is complete, minus the dist. Does have rust and a very nice set of correct Cookies, I had a plan for this, but my plans have changed, and with a matching # 914-6 on the way, I will need the space. Title in hand & $4,500 takes it (it could be parted out for more if I chose too.

Good luck with the sale. You wouldn't take a vintage Redline PL-20 for trade would you??

If I want a horror movie, I can rent one for $1.99 and save myself $29,998.01.

James Cameron (sp) might be interested... he needs a project... have your people call his people and have lunch...

Honestly, a 911 is not in the cards for me right now. A 74 no-roof would be a top pic for my 911 dreams however.
The Redline is frame/fork, shabby chrome with Suzue sealed bearing hubs I threaded into a set of Mongoose drilled rims(black). DK mini stem. I also have the Mongoose California (chrome) rim-donor otherwise complete. I don't have pics but will try to get some.
I do have a mountain bike I just finished building. Custom paint(Khaki) steel frame and rigid fork(viscious) Gunnar custom built last year in Waterford. Chris King headset, BB, hubs (all pewter color) I laced in Mavic 717 rims. Avid Elixer R disc brakes, Full 2009 XT drivetrain, Thompson elite seatpost/masterpiece stem, easton carbon bar. Fully sorted with nice bits and as -new perfect - sitting as artwork in my living room(several grand invested). Also have, as new, '85 vintage trek 500 roadbike with full campy I disassembled and fully polished. I like old bikes. If interested in trade, maybe I could come up with something - I am highly motivated for a 911, but have life-changing events on the horizon and am hesitant to dedicate much funding to a 911 project as much as I would like to.
I'll get some pics if at all interested.

This quote and an earlier question about child seats in the 911....... I need to call Sherlock Holmes and ask him to help me piece together the clues.

I've seen one somewhere but can't make it work here..... Have fun with it!

As you can see, they grow in to little buggers. The trick is to get the kids into cars and it makes the acquisition much easier!

Oh my, WB....Congratulations!!

I've wondered why we have been deprived of your artful writing. Seriously, you should sideline as an automotive writer or columnist. If you need a tech writer, I'd be happy to volunteer. (\/ omg hey it worked!)
