I'm curious why people think that just because I clean it, I don't drive it? Yes, I try to avoid driving it on stormy days and yes, it's not my primary daily driver but I drove it to work every day this week for example.
You guys are wetsanding the underbody? As in the inside of the fender well?
No, I use a strong de-greaser (wurth), diesel fuel, and tons and tons of elbow grease. I use nothing more abrasive than a microfiber rag on painted surfaces.
For scraping cosmoline off unpainted surfaces (e.g. suspension parts, plastic, etc...) i use a plastic scraper in some places.
