Picked my car up yesterday from its Winter storage, runs great!! I have the guy's coming Tuesday to re-do my garage door so that Wednesday I can have my lift installed!!! Starting to come together. Anyone else have a lift?? If so do you like/dislike it???

I'm going to have one put in when I rebuild the garage. I'm just waiting on my wife to leave the country for a week or two and in come the builders.

I've got a Bendpak mid-rise scissors lift, best tool I've ever bought.

A couple of years ago I put in a 4 post, mostly for storage, but it is so great to work on the car, even waxing, no bending over, am I lazy or what.

The MD-6XP? I've heard good things about that one and I've been thinking of getting one as well. It doesn't appear an engine/tranny drop could be done with this lift though. Not an issue for me as I'd more likely use it for wheels, brakes, detailing etc.

That's the one....it works perfectly for engine drops. Not sure why you think it won't? It also worked well for my 928 when I had it, was even able to change out the exhaust.

It is ideal for pulling wheels to deal with brakes, etc. One reason I don't care for 4 posts-but those are good for double decker storage.
