Fuchs rejuvenation
Did some work on my milky Fuchs this evening.
One wheel done, the other not.
The one I did was actually worse than the one I have yet to do.
I did the outer ring with some agressive rubbing compound and a dremel tool with a felt pad on low speed. The black I did with a clay bar.
Took me about an hour and a half.

It is Turtle Wax Rubbing Compound (Heavy Duty Cleaner)
Can is about 5" round, 1.5" high, with a red label.
I just spread a small amount over an area about 5" long and worked it with the dremmel tool until it started to dry up, then wiped clean.
Did the other rear this morning and it (being better to start with) came out great.
Move on to the fronts next, after F1 which starts @ 2:00.

WOW rejex is awesome on wheels - it goes on very thin and smooth... dries super quick and comes off with zero effort - lasts a long time and makes future clean up simple - that said i have not used it on the Fuchs so I cannot say for certan it will be the same as the sport classic II's on my 996 - (which BTW are a real PITA if you dont keep up on them - the rejex was a life saver there - inside and out!)
its pretty cheap and if nothing else its great on the nose and mirrors too, so not much to loose in trying IMO - the airplane guys coat the belly of the planes in it and you know how dirty those get.....

Cool, I will see if I can get some when I'm in Hershey next weekend. I see they also make a product called CorrosionX, which looks interesting too.

RejeX is a thin-film polymer coating, used instead of wax or polish, to provide the ultimate, durable high-gloss protective finish for vehicles of all types.
Entirely synthetic, RejeX's protective characteristics far exceed those of traditional wax products. It highly resistant to chemicals, detergents, acids and UV, which deteriorate paint over time.
Even though RejeX contains no polishing additives per se, the deep, lustrous high-gloss finish rivals that of any polish or glaze. Click here to visit the main RejeX page.

It has a bottle of spray and two bars in the kit.
I took one bar and chopped it in half, then used it on the centers of the wheels.
It took the oxidization off and the clean matt black looks great now.
The bar got filthy though, that's why I only used 1/2. It's pretty much junk now.

Yeah, I was amazed that the black came up that well.
Haven't tried it on any of the trim.
I clay bared the entire car, with the exception of the right door and fender, which I'm still in the process of touching up. I feels great. Still a whack of little issues, which are just part of 23 yo paint.
I must try the clay on some of the trim pieces. Never thought of that.

Clayed your wheels....never done that, I'll have to give it a try!
If you still have a clean piece, try claying the windshield! The results will amaze you the next time you're driving in the rain. Much easier on the wiper blades. IMO..better than Rain-X.... You're cleaning the glass rather than putting some product on it. Best clay I found is from Griot's Garage.
