Post de-mothballing 911

Hi All

Our '69 911E has stood idle for about a year now, and it's time to get it going again.

This procedure has been discussed before (in a list far, far away), but has slipped my memory. In particular, what precautions need to be take re lubrication when first cranking it over. Also, it is advisable to turn the engine over by hand a few times before using the started?

Regards

Disable the fuel pump. Crank the engine (with the starter) until you see the oil pressure warning light go out.
