Good decision. You'll find lots of help here as you get more informed and determine what car you really want.

As Jeremy noted above, this really isn't a "wide body"-those are Turbos or Turbo-look cars. Carreras and SC's do have wider flares than earlier cars, so they can indeed be considered wider, but they would not fall under the term "wide body" in the world of 911's. You'll learn some of these facts as you read more about these great cars.

smart choice - again if the same or like car comes along, at least you should have a realistic idea of what you are getting into rather than (in your own words) "ignorantly hoping for the best" - well stated. You seem to have a smart head on your shoulders and should do well !!
