Question Run a prospective VIN

Almost hate to ask but if someone out there has unlimited access to carfax would they mind running vin wp0zzz91zcs100336. Im taking it next week to get it a PPI on it. If it comes back bad why bother with the PPI.

You know thats a European model (ZZZ) right? 1982 911SC according to the Red Book. Theres a service on Ebay motors that only charges you $4.95 for a report...

It's a ROW (rest of world, non USA) 911 SC Coupe with a 930/10 engine.

WPO=world make code=Porsche
ZZZ=VDS code for USA (not used in this case)
91=first digits of type "911"
z=test digit for USA not used here
c=model year 1982
s=Stuttgart manufacturing site
10=Code for ROW or Japan Coupe
0336=Serial number, in this case in the rage reserved fot the ROW (mostly European) series

Widebody,

Please don't ask Rennlistrs to run Carfax's in violation of their agreement with Carfax.

That said, Carfax doesn't cover ROW cars, ie those with 'ZZZ' in the VIN.

Thanks for the info. Whats a 930/10 engine? The car is a factory wide body but not a turbo.

930/10 is an 81-83 911SC ROW engine.
