Yup, the 914 has a rig of a shifter. There are some mods for them and the 915 upgrade for a 914 is the way to go, but not as easy as one may think. The 901 has its supporters saying that they are as good as a 915 and I won't argue, but I am a 915 guy. Thus my contention that a 915 is as good as a G50...where does it stop. A stock 915 will handle 300hp I understand and more with mods. Thus the 4-speed in the 930 until 89 when they got a what? G50
