Default Semi Retro Project - Pic

Been lurking for a while and at the same time been a bit busy. Its an 88 G50 that I picked up In Jan this year that was mechanically superb, but very, very cosmetically challenged. To start, it was Marine Blue which at best I'd describe as an indecisive color, lot of panels crazed. So lower outside panels stripped, door mirror holes welded up and full repaint in 03 Koenigsblau.

The interior was very tired, door card shot, seats shot. So all was ripped out, seats reconditioned, new black carpets and Linen leather door cards with recessed speakers.

First time its moved a wheel in 10 weeks..

Both front and rear bumpers are Glass Fibre IROC, saves a truck load of weight!

Default Interior

Finished the interior off..
Center console in black Alcantera, new door card(DIY) with recessed speakers and then covered in half a cow. The seats, which had really passed their sell by date, came up superbly. I used a specialist for these, not big money.

Some delicate chrome bezels sourced from Germany and a Momo Prototipo with a 40mm spacer makes for a very comfortable place to be..
