a longhood w/o rot (or ANY rust?) is worth $6k as it sits - good show!

I'm only kidding...this reminds me of my first, a stripped 73 with a half finished IROC kit and a hot rodded 2.5 with open megaphones...nobody could talk me out of it...a money pit for sure but I've had at least one pcar in the garage ever since...do post some pics...

There is some rust, but the guy who looked at it thinks that it can be saved if I get to it soon enough. He didn't see any spots that looked to have perforated the metal, so that's a good start. Overall, with everything original except the engine I think 6K was a good price. Once I get it in the shop I will take some pics. That won't be for another month!!!

I did take everyone's advice seriously. I realize that there could be some unforeseen bad spots, but I am willing to deal with them as they come. I enjoy a good challenge. I think this is going to be a very fun winter project!!! I'm already looking forward to next summer.
