Default Nashville

Well, I'm after another one. This one is an 84 Targa with 135k miles. Clutch has 30k on it. Paint is original and shows wear which does not bother me. Owner is the 3rd and has most records since the car was new.

I wanted to tap the resources here for a shop suggestion for a PPI. The car is currently serviced at Music City so I'd like to go to a different shop unless this is hands down the best. A quick search resulted in the shops below, but wanted to make sure these were still valid and recommended shops. Any locals want to chime in?

Default PPI in Nashville

Murphyjp,

Wicky over at Renntag Motorwerks is the man to do it. I have had my 1970 911S serviced there for the last three years. Excellent service and he loves to investigate issues to figure out why something happened and then explain it to you. He worked for many years at Brumos Porsche in Florida before moving to Nashville.

Thanks. I still need to get a few more details from the seller. He seems very open about the car and gave me the number to his mechanic over at Music City. I'll definitely be giving him a call since I'm not local and can't go see the car for myself.

Anyone in the area willing to lay some eyes on the car for me? I'd be happy to reimburse for fuel and lunch.

The guy at Music City is Andrew, I guess. He is supposedly very good. I have used Wickie for a while when it's something I don't want to do or just a checkup. Very fair rates and knowledgable.
