There is NO shifter mod that will make up for a less than good transaxle. Clunky is probably a result of something in the coupler, bushings, etc. Or, it could be a less-than-perfect installation or adjustment. My Seine is not clunky. The gating does make you shift into the 1-2 plane before pulling back into 2nd gear, which is what it is designed to do.

What kind of difference will a Wevo make on a G50? Is it worth the change?

OK - new and trying to figure this out, the Wevo listed on Pelican is pushing $900 while the seine systems gate shifter is under $200 - or am I searching the wrong parts.

I had a "moment" when I wasnt sure what gear I just hit coming out of 5th at speed... this stock shifter is a must go item....mine is very worn and notchy feeling, hard to feel anything and I will take a look at the linkage soon.... but while I am up, this thread is making me wonder about these two... if the price is closer, maybe the wevo is the way to go, but if it is 4x the cost, I will have to opt for the seine systems

please advise, and thanks for the posts ! Helpful thread

At $900 you're looking at the price for the wevo 915 gateshift kit. This is a different than the shifter- it fits inside the 915 transmission itself.

The wevo shifter kit being discussed here is $595 at pelican. FYI.

I've had wevo shifters on 3 of my cars and the gateshift on one. Worth every penny IMHO.

I just installed the seine - as in last week. it does 95% of what the Wevo does for 1/4 of the price.

Spend the money on what you want to spend your money on. The Seine Systems (and I know plenty of people that track their cars, like Ed above) makes all the difference going back into the 1/2 plane. Really firms up the shifter nicely.

Thanks - in your "before and after" things... was I suppose to see something? (its blank)

anyone have a link to the Seine Systems part that I need...(still not sure if we are talking something that goes on the tranny, in the tranny or replaces the shift housing parts inside the cab (sorry for my ignorance, I have a history of buying incorrect part and really like to be sure)

and shut up Marc

It's a line graph.....

Google Seine Systems, or even try that with .com.
