Default Bought and installed Monty. PICS TOO!

OK. I bought a used Monty exhaust for my mostly stock '85 Targa. Thanks to those who helped me figure out thet the "sport muffler" I found listed on craigslist was a Monty. I paid $500. I removed the stock muffler and installed the monty with new bolts and a new gasket. It only took about an hour and I think I could do it again in about 30 minutes. I have access to a lift so this job was much easier than if I were doing it on jack stands. Here are some photos.

By the way I think it sounds awesome. Very lumpy down low. Reasonably quiet at 3500 rpm's and lets loose a little above 5k.

Awesome. I love everything about their(Monty) mufflers. great fit, sound, quality. I know it's unimportant, but they respond well to a little stainless polish, at least the tip. I still think it's the best $500 bucks you can spend on a 911. It really transforms the persona and adds a lot to the aural feedback a flat six delivers.
