Any idea what year this is??
Hello all,
I usually hang out on the 964 side, but I thought I may hop over here to ask a quick question.
Well, I know that this is not a 964, I also think that it is pre-74, but does anyone know what year it is??
This is a so there I was story.....
So there I was filling up the Camry at a fueling station and I felt something staring at me. You know the old P-car sense. I turned around and there was a VW repair shop behind the gas station. And then I saw these pair of eyes looking out at me. I am a sap for old sport cars in various states of disrepair (as I am with dogs at shelters and so on......), but I think I may go take a look at her and see if there is anything salvageable on the car. I know there is a lot of rust, but what the heck, why not put another project on the board
It wouldn't be the worst backyard decoration now would it.....
Pic is with my phone, and the rust is not as bad as it makes it out to be, well, at least on the surface.....
Thank you all!

That's all you got? LOL
Definitely '73 or earlier. I don't think I see much flare on the front fender. '69 and later got a little more flare than '68 and earlier. I'm guessing '68 or earlier.

Yep, a longhood. This also means no corrosion protection whatsoever, so my guess is that thing is a step above Swiss Cheese. If you're lucky.
Go for the gold bus in front.

Thanks for the replies!!!!
Yeah, I usually only know 964 stuff, still learning on the older stuff. I am pretty sure it just a hunk of rust sitting there but I figure what the heck......no harm in looking.
Cheers.

That 911 looks half 356. Maybe a Talbot mirror? Chrome rearview? It's old, alright. The rubber strip is before they went to the square style. It could be a very very early 911. Like maybe 65-66ish? I don't know, but it's an early one.
