"I hate how Bob Roll pronounces it: Tooor day Fraaaants."

Bob does that just to irritate the French & Frankophiles. Who can blame him?

And then there are the Bob Varsha pronuciations.

I hate em: "Ku-beet-sa" "Luh-Mah".

I prefer the David 'Obs pronunciations: "Fred Alonzo" et. al.

How do you guys pronounce Ruf?

I know a guy with the last name Brekke. He says "Breh-Kee", so I say the same. Even though in the back of my mind I suspect it's "Breh-kuh". Cause we don't say "Por-shee" ya know.
That is the correct pronunciation of Heuer. Ruf should sound like "roof". I don't think Brekke is a German name, it looks maybe Dutch or Norwegian.

A friend of mine pronounces Porsche as "Dubbie".

Doesn't bother me because he drives a Merc, which is pronounced "taxi"...

Born and spent years outside Stuttgart, but never feel the need to correct. You know how to say it.
