M491, what did you use for a pivot? I've been thinking of using a large socket on the front cross-member in the front, but I'm way skittish about putting that kind of pressure on the crankcase all in one spot on the rear.

Well, there have been untold numbers of 911's jacked up at the crank case without any issues....

Maybe a socket or similar with some kind of "hockey puck" on top to spread the weight a bit. Weld a fixture that sits on a jack or jackstand.

That's a brilliant idea, Ed. Something between the pivot and the engine case, so the lifting force is not concentrated on the crankcase. I wonder if I can use my lifting platform that I made for the engine drop but bolt a pipe nipple fitting to the underside. I could lift the whole thing with the trolley jack.
