Well everyone thanks for the welcomes , this is great!
A bit more on the car, it was my wifes daughters Boyfriends Dads 911 LOL... he aquired it unfinished , paintet interior and motor set in place but didnt do anything too it as HUGE amounts of parts were missing coil fan CID wipers, relays etc etc 2 pages listed. Was offered the car and shipped it here, couldnt believe what was all missing.
I found a gentleman who had all the parts i needed, he lives in Whitby and even brought them down to me, had a quick look at the car and started to help me with valve set up, I wanted to see it done, similar to beetle, We had issues, cam upside down...yup he had a tool and came down on a Tuesday night to repair it, well we worked on the car he left at 4:30 am He didnt want to leave me hanging.
I have to tell everyone one here the overwhelming gratitude i have to this guy that i only just met, Im the first to help anyone with what i can, you dont always find that in others as most will know but he helped me and i learned a great deal!
So my first meeting with a Porsche guy couldn't have been better. If you are on here.....THANKS Yarko!
I hope that kind of mature camaraderie is the norm, cant wait to meet the guys and gals in the area.
Thanks everyone

a foot note: Im 45 now and since i was a kid i dreamed of a 911, when I was 18 or so i bought a Porsche Crest at a flea market, I told myself one day i will have a car to put this on. I now have it, it may not be a 993 or a 930, but it is the car i dreamed of owning...and its red...Booya!
